Launch X431 scanners has no IP limitation. Elite II does. Pro5 cannot do online programming. X431 has more special functions than Elite. 

PAD V and PAD VII has topology mapping, Elite II does not, need 3rd generation MS909 MS919 Ultra.

As for PAD V and PAD VII, PAD VII is better to go, more advanced hardware, more special functions, including ACC calibration， Engine power balance monitoring， GPF Regeneration， Rotation Angle Sensor calibration， High-voltage battery health detection etc. PAD VII supports North American vehicle online programming, PAD V is limited.
