Original Launch X-431 OBDII Diagnostic Scan Tools

Problem: What BE KEYS do you use to write with   Launch X431 IMMO Plus   X-PROG3? I tried VVDI Benz BE Key and couldn’t read key info. Solution: Xhorse VVDI BE key   green board works.  Xhorse BE Key V4.3T with yellow PCB not working. And also aliexpress cheap one works ( but on those you cannot change frequency). If cannot read VVDI BE green board, try pull up the key a little bit. Sometimes only pcb put in a hole and pull up 10mm.

Procedure: Go to IMMO- BMW latest software – Anti-theft key matching- Anti-theft key matching- CAS3/CAS3+ IMMO- Key Operation Read key status. Put the key to the X-prog3 coil. The current key has been locked. Go back to CAS3 key operation menu. Select Key Unlock. Put the key to be unlocked into the X-prog3 programmer. Click OK to load a copy of key data file. Launch X431 IMMO Plus / IMMO Elite   has an option to synchronize MQB immo data (get sync data for MQB48 NEC35XX locked key programming). How can I get 16-digit CS codes of the ( instrument cluster, ECM, TCM, ELV )?   Here is the clue. You have to read the modules and get cs code. You can also read with other tools and get the cs code. Go to VAG IMMO software- select brand- Special Functions- Anti-Theft Function-> All keys are lost-> MQB IMMO System. If select manual mode, you can directly input the 16-digit CS codes of cluster, ECM, TCM and ELV (if keyless model), then get sync data to generate dealer key and learn key. Question: Can  Launch X431 IMMO Plus / IMMO Elite  do VW Instrument immo key with pogo pin without reading from chip? Like say 2013 VW Jetta flip key. Autel can do it via Pogo pin and plug method and this can save some time.   Here is the clue. This comes with a pogo pin. There is a pogo cable in the box when you get it. This pogo cable connects to the xprog 3 yellow port (the DB26 connector). User feedback: It worked it out finally. This pogo cable does indeed connect to the xprog 3 yellow port. But doing so when connected to the car with old port powers up the instruments. So you need to find the pogo point, then touch and hold pogo on point while connecting to xprog3 the instrument should now enter service mode. Hold the probe on the boot point, power on the cluster, you can then retrieve the immo data.
