Launch Smartlink C from   X431 PAD V / PAD VII   tested working well with Xentry, ODIS (V23/V24 all good), SPS2 and many other software. Here shows how to connect Launch Smartlink with Xentry via passthru.  It works very good.   You will need: Launch Smartlink Passthru VCI Xentry Passthru version software (tested 2024/09) A delicate laptop   Download and install Launch smartlink driver. Where to Download Launch X431 SmartLink C J2534 Passthru Driver Connect Smartlink VCI with laptop and vehicle. For example, this is a Mercedes Benz GLE W292. Run Xentry passthru software. Select device type as Launch J2534 Log in xentry. Select series GLE (292) Hit Xentry Diagnosis Communicate with vehicle and detect modules. Make sure you have a good connection, and that the vehicle voltage is good.

How to connect   Launch Smartlink C 2.0   heavy duty truck module with the 10-pin jumper cable? The Smartlink C 2.0 truck module is an extension module for   Launch X431 Pro3S+   and   X431 V+   to diagnose heavy duty trucks.   This is the Jumper-10 cable. There is a converter in the package (marked red below). Remove the red connector on the top of the converter. Then connect the converter with Launch smartlink VCI. Then you can connect these wire harness with the 10-pin jumper cable.  

Launch SmartLink C   and Scanmatik 2 Pro are   j2534   capable so they both work with other   j2534   compatible programs. Launch SmartLink vs SM2 Pro J2534 Launch SmartLink is much better than the most   J2534  because is better for Trucks.   So will work with almost all   j2534  passthru Softwares Cars or Trucks , Scanmatik can be used as j2534 passthru for cars only.
