Unlock Launch X431 NASTF in 3 Steps

Launch X431 has joined the NASTF (National Automotive Service Task Force). The software needs to meet NASTF specifications. Before using IMMO related functions, you must log in to the NASTF VSPID account first For users in the United States and Canada during the transition period from November 4,2024 to December 3, 2024.

 

Here we will show how to Unlock NASTF for Launch X431.

Device affected: Launch X431 IMMO Plus, Launch X431 IMMO Elite, IMMO Pro, IMMO PAD and tablet with x-prog3 and IMMO software package

 

NOTE:

Starting mid-January 2025, American and Canadian users need to unlock NASTF to use the IMMO function.

Before mid-January 2025, if your device asks to buy NASTF license, ignore it. Just update App and it goes normal.

3 Steps to Unlock LAUNCH NASTF (after mid-January 2025)

Step 1:Buy NASTF License in Mall

When performing IMMO or IMMO Prog function, Launch will ask to buy NASTF license.

Hit Buy Authorization Card

It will bring you to the Mall interface.

Choose NASTF License.
This is a lifetime license. Active license to enable IMMO functions.

Choose a payment method, Credit card or Paypal.
Read and agree Mall service agreement and press Checkout.
For example, if pay via Paypal, input your credit card information to finish the payment.

Step 2: Log in your NASTF account

Then Launch will ask to bind User information.

If you already have a NASTF account, enter NASTF VSP ID, Passcode, name and Sumbit.

If not, hit Join NASTF. It will bring you to the NASTF official website.
Register an account on NASTF.

Step 3: Authorize your scanner

Now back to Launch tablet. Run X431 IMMO Apk.

Enter your NASTF VSP ID, Passcode, user name to bind User info with your Launch IMMO tool to authorize your tool.

I have the Launch X431 V+ Pros Mini which I purchased new from obdii365 for $1079. I also have a PIWIS III clone V38.90 that i purchased from another website for $1429. I purchased the Launch X431 V+ with the intent of using it to flash a used control module for my car. When I discovered that the Launch X431 V+ could not do that I purchased a PIWIS III clone with the intention of selling the Launch X431 V+ but I have not got around to selling it yet because it is so much easier to use then the PIWIS III.Here is what I have done so far with each one.
