Launch X431 V vs. Pro mini vs. Diagun IV

I purchased the Launch X431 Pro Mini off

This tool works on the 2020 Porsche Macan S (mine was built 14 Sept 2019, delivered 20 Dec 2019 – takes a while to get from Germany to Australia), I just proved it.
Mine came in a retail package with all the paperwork, part number/specific registration code, etc. via DHL in 5 days. I was able to register with the main company and I have 2 years of free updates…
I’ve actually updated the vehicle manufacturers software twice, so launch are obviously active in keeping up with new vehicle changes

This software is much more user friendly than VCDS, Durametric Pro, BMW Software (ISTA-P, NCS, BMW Standard Tools) which I have.
BTW, I tested the software on Kia Cerato(Forte5), Rio & Australian Holden Astra BK as well as the Porsche, & works perfectly on these brands as well.


I have done some research online and show you the differences among Launch X431 Pro Mini/Pros Mini / Diagun IV /V & V+ as seems some are interested. Summarizes it nicely. Hope will help you make a good decision. 

Launch Diagun IV vs. Pro Mini:

Function: same

Diagun IV: looks like a mobile phone

Pro mini: looks like a tablet.

Price: Diagun IV is more cheaper than Pro mini.

Function: same
Size: X431 V 8inch X431 V+ 10 inch
Price: X431 V is cheaper
Difference:
That’s no difference if you don’t have heavy truck diagnosis.
X431 V+ & HD model used for heavy truck diagnosis.


Launch X431 Pro Mini vs. Pros Mini:
No difference.


Launch X431 Diagun IV vs. Snap-On Verus vs. Autel:
Launch X431 Diagun IV has the full bidirectional control capability.

There is nothing the versus scan tool can do that the Diagun cannot.

Sometimes you need a power Arsenal.

Turn on time:
Snap on =1:21
Autel = 0:37
Launch = 0:16


Launch X431 Diagun IV:
Real similar a mobile phone
Not bad for the cost.
Best portable scan tool for auto technician and mobile mechanic!

Launch X431 V+ or PIWIS-III for Porsche Diagnosis?

I have the Launch X431 V+ Pros Mini which I purchased new from obdii365 for $1079. I also have a PIWIS III clone V38.90 that i purchased from another website for $1429. I purchased the Launch X431 V+ with the intent of using it to flash a used control module for my car. When I discovered that the Launch X431 V+ could not do that I purchased a PIWIS III clone with the intention of selling the Launch X431 V+ but I have not got around to selling it yet because it is so much easier to use then the PIWIS III.Here is what I have done so far with each one. Launch X431 V+ : Cleared all the fault codes stored in the car. Activated the Aux setting in PCM (PCM/CDR) I had to add an aux cable to the PCM to make use of this one.
