Q:   The   Launch X431 Pro Elite   is said to be compatible with the x-prog3 programmer. Does the launch x431 pro elite need a DBScar VII to run the x-prog 3? How to connect the Pro Elite with X-prog3?     Answer: Yes, Launch X431 Pro Elite will work with   x-prog3   and   IMMO software pack   to perform key programming functions. Pro Elite/ProS Elite is a tablet with USB connection. They don’t have DBScar and will not work with DBscar VII Bluetooth adapter.   How to Connect Launch X431 Pro Elite/ Pros Elite   with X-prog3?   There is a USB to OBD converter in x-prog3 package. Is there any difference between Kingbolen Ediag plus and   thinkdiag 2   OBDII Bluetooth adapter?   1. How to Connect Thinkdiag2 via DoIP?

Question: Have tried the new   Thinkdiag2   vci with diagzone on a Volvo in menu it cam up with use CAN OR DOIP tried doip did not work. Ok on CAN. Is there anyway to use the Thinkdiag2 DOIP protocol? Here is the clue. The Thinkdiag2 is similar to Launch DBScar VII (not exactly the same, check the   comparison   here). The DBscar VII supports CAN FD and DoIP protocol, so does the Thinkdiag 2. The Thinkdiag2 scanner has its own software for iOS and Android called Thinkdiag +, Bluetooth connection. There is a rumor that it does not have new DOIP protocol for fast reading of Volvo SPA. It is not true. You should use a special adapter ( DoIP Connect cable ). You use the same cable for DBscar VII. Same connection as DBscar 7 and DoIP cable.
