The Renault Security Gateway is like a firewall for the ECU’s, you don’t have a full diagnostic functions without unlocking. You only can read out the datastream, the live data from ECUs, you can read out fault codes, but you cannot do special functions or calibrate and ADAS system or other things.   It’s now possible to unlock the security Gateway with Launch X431 diagnostic scanners (for   Launch   X431 PAD VII   and PAD V and some advanced European tablets ONLY ). Launch X431 diagnostic scanners DOIP (Ethernet) communication vehicle model diagnostic guide.   Purpose: Since DOIP (Ethernet) communication has requirements for the X431 diagnostic connector and the operating system of the host machine, the purpose of this document is to guide users to confirm whether their X431 scanner can test DOIP (Ethernet) communication models.   I. The solution here is intended to solve the Launch X431 Bluetooth VCI connection problems. 1. Bluetooth connection failed 2.
